The KCS Electric bannering is a joint effort with IBEW Local 441, 440 477 and 569. We are bringing attention to the low wages paid to nonunion workers on KCS projects. KCS Electric specializes in wiring storage facilities. These photos were taken in front of a Self Storage 1 project on Olympic Blvd, in West Los Angeles. Our efforts have resulted in some employees receiving raises while others have not seen any change in their pay. We feel that all the employees deserve a raise. The contractor is based in Orange County. Thiry-five of KCS’s nearly 50 workers have left the company and are now earning good union wages working for union shops.
