Southern California IBEW Locals Sign High Light Electric Print E-mail

Erwin Mendoza, the President and CEO of High Light Electric, has signed agreements with Southern California IBEW local unions. High Light has been in business for over 20 years, with many family members working to make it successful. High Light does primarily traffic signal construction throughout Southern California. They are based in Riverside, with their company yard, warehouses and corporate offices covering eight acres.

On Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, IBEW Local 440 hosted a barbecue at High Light’s shop, where High Light employees were given the opportunity to meet their Business Representatives from the local unions and discuss union membership, dues, pension, health and welfare and other topics. This event was very successful because 11 IBEW representatives and one NECA Chapter Manager, Dave Shankle, came together to answer the new members’ individual concerns and questions.
