The Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 36 would like to thank all of you who have generously donated to the Painters District Council 36 Fund in memory of our five union brothers who died in an industrial accident October 2nd. Seventh Training Facility Allows For More Skill And Safety Training
Painters and Allied Trades, District Council 36 has added a new training facility in the Westchester area of Los Angeles, and now trains apprentices and journeymen at seven locations in Southern California from San Diego in the south to San Luis Obispo in the north. The skill and safety training required by District Council 36 gives our apprentices and journeymen the hands-on training with the cutting edge tools, materials, and methods necessary to gain a competitive advantage in today's workplace. With the addition of our seventh training center in Westchester, and training and upgrade classes taking place throughout the year at each of them, District Council 36 will continue to supply one of the most skilled workforces in the country to our signatory contractors.
