The Southern California Pipe Trades District Council 16, its affiliated local unions, sponsors, vendors and contractors who participated at the Council sponsored Annual Golf Tournament, proudly donated $72,000.00 to the “Mesothelioma Research Foundation of America”. The annual fundraising event has been a huge success in generating a significant amount of funding for “Mesothelioma” research. Dr. Gill’s tireless efforts to cure this insidious disease which affects a large percentage of those who worked in the building trades, is indeed recognized and well respected. Thanks also to our partners, the law firm of Jerry Neil Paul and his wife Elizabeth Ann for their continuing dedication to the cure of this illness.
